Company XIV are still at it. Eleven years ago I marveled at their cheeky blend of circus and burlesque, opera and pop, corsets and tassels when they presented Cinderella at the Minetta Lane in Manhattan. The company now has their own theater in less tony Brooklyn, where their same antic aesthetic now serves Little Red Hiding Hood in Petit Rouge.

The level of artistry may now be less high class and more scrappy, but it is still plenty fun, and the cocktails being served are very delicious and very potent.

Company XIV not only allows but encourages taking and sharing photos and videos. So here is a taste of what Ed and I experienced when we took in Petit Rouge on his birthday earlier this month.
