The Horror Bowl Movie Awards, independent horror, thriller and sci-fi movie awards, have given “The Tell-Tale Heart – a musicabre” the award for “Best Musical Horror Short”.
Yes, I am now the proud recipient of a Horror Bowl!
The Horror Bowl Movie Awards gives out awards for Best Thriller or Best Sci-Fi as well as unique categories like Most Gory Scene or Best Death Scene. This edition they did not give out a Best Horror Short award, but did give Tell-Tale the more specifically named Best Musical Horror Short Award.
Arguably, “The Tell-Tale Heart – a musicabre” is more musical than horrible.
And since the last Tell-Tale posting, there has some more awards and festival news.
At the Florence Film Rewards, “The Tell-Tale Heart – a musicabre” placed second with an Honorable Mention in the Horror category.
AltFF – Alternative Film Festival announced “The Tell-Tale Heart – a musicabre” is currently a Semifinalist – Long Short Category (20 – 45 minutes) in Best Cast and Best Director.
Oniros Film Festival upgraded our status to Finalist for Best Experimental Short.
Update: Woo Hoo!
Later today I found out “The Tell-Tale Heart – a musicabre” will be screened by NewFilmmakers NY on Wednesday, March 25th:
Also the Independent Shorts Awards in Los Angeles made us an Official Selection:
