Another year, another visit to the ART NY expo. Here are pictures of some of the works that intrigued me this year (last year’s can be seen here).
Some famous names are included here among the up and comers, like Picasso, Banksy, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Hirst, Koons, and Botero (above, and again further down).

Did J. K. Rowling’s description of magically moving paintings in Hogwarts help inspire the current vogue of framed artwork with moving images, like this sculptural one by Marck, where external and internal frames also function as a swimming pool’s walls?
“ART” Song #6
Here’s another Marck, this one’s smoke wafts outside the frame too:
I'm a composer with over 40 years experience creating music theater.
I'm also an actor, writer, director, producer, teacher and general enthusiast for the arts.
It was wonderful to see you and Ed at Kendall, Danny. Thanks for being such a help with B.J.’s great book. It’s a gift to the world.
Hope your Mother had a good visit.
Love, Aunt Mim
