Solaris Film Festival Awards “Prelude to a Death”

The Solaris Film Festival in Helsinki, Finland has given “Prelude to a Death” the award for “Best Unproduced Script”.

“Prelude to a Death” is a feature length gothic ghost story. I have sent the screenplay to a handful of festivals that adjudicate scripts, and the response has been very positive. You can see more about that here.

Solaris Film Festival is the final festival I’d submitted the screenplay to, so far. Thank you, Helsinki. My maternal grandmother, Tynni Walo*, would be especially pleased.

*Yes, you guessed it, my grandmother was Finnish. 😉
